Name engraving using a branding pen
Using a tool called a 'branding pen' with a tip heated to nearly 400°C, letters are burned onto the surface of the leather.

▪︎About the material
This wallet uses Amazonia cowhide leather made in the Santa Croce region of Italy. It is vegetable-tanned and finished with dye, and through the Vacchetta method, the leather is richly infused with oils, so the color deepens with use and develops a natural sheen. It’s leather you can fully enjoy aging over time.
The brass fittings develop an antique patina the more you use them. It’s a material you can enjoy alongside the leather’s aging process.
