-Basic Information-
Name: "TEXAS / テキサス"
Color Name: agave / アガベ
Manufacturer: TEMPESTI / Tempesti (Italy)
Tanning: Vegetable tanning (Vacchetta method)
・About the leather "TEXAS / Texas"
Manufactured by TEMPESTI, located in the Ponte a Egola area of Tuscany, Italy,Hairline FinishThis is single butt vegetable-tanned leather with (linear buffing) applied.
It is a process of polishing the surface of the leather in a consistent direction, and it is called hairline processing because fine lines resembling hair strands are aligned.
This leather features a linear texture created by hairline processing, offering an oily yet matte finish to enjoy.
Additionally, it uses a part called the single butt, which is the fiber-dense area from the cow's back to its rump, and is richly infused with oil using the Vacchetta method, resulting in a firm yet supple texture.
This leather is finished with dye using vegetable tannin tanning, so the color deepens with use, developing a unique luster characteristic of buffed leather, allowing you to enjoy the natural aging (patina) process.
・About the aging of 'TEXAS / Texas'
The brushed surface develops friction with use, bringing out the unique luster of nubuck leather and gradually changing to a rich, deep color.

*The key cover in the photo has been used daily for six months.
Depending on the usage conditions, the way aging occurs may vary, so please use this as a reference only.
Since color-fixing treatment is not applied to prioritize the original texture of the leather, there is a possibility of discoloration, fading, color transfer, and oil transfer.
