— Basic Information —
Name: "Paisley / ペイズリー"
Color Name: Topo / トッポ
Manufacturer: Virgilio Conceria Artigiana / Virgilio Conceria Artigiana (Italy)
Tanning: Vegetable tanning (Bagutta method)
・About the Paisley / ペイズリー
This leather is produced by Virgilio Conceria Artigiana, located in the Ponte a Egola district of Tuscany, Italy. It features a shoulder leather called Margaux, known for its distinctive scratch texture on the surface, which is then embossed with a Paisley pattern.
・Aging of the Paisley / ペイズリー
The raised surface develops friction with use, gradually transforming from a matte finish to a glossy one over time. Along with this change in sheen, the leather’s color deepens and gains character.

Please note that aging varies depending on usage, so this should be used as a general reference only.
To preserve the leather’s natural texture, no color-fixing treatment has been applied, so discoloration, fading, color transfer, and oil transfer may occur.
